Beautifully quilted and soft at first touch, BAO Linen Play Mats have been designed to grow with your baby and family. A timeless and aesthetically pleasing home accessory that can be used by all members of the family, from birth, to tummy time, play time, quiet reading and more!

Our mats are made with 100% premium French flax linen+cotton blend that is moisture-resistant, naturally hypoallergenic and highly breathable. Boosted with extra padding, we’ve ensured that the mats are soft enough for even the littlest ones to feel comfortable and safe for use. Each mat comes in a matching linen bag for easy storage. Machine washable (see cleaning instructions for more details).

Why Flax Linen?

1. Sustainability: The flax plant requires less water and fewer pesticides to produce than other fibres. The entire plant is utilised, for example, the seeds are pressed to make linseed oil. Linen is a renewable resource and is both biodegradable and recyclable making it an earth-friendly choice.

2. Durability: Flax linen is also known for its durability and is twice as durable compared to cotton, which means the quality of the mat will not be impacted over time and with washing.

3. Breathable: The natural fibre is temperature regulating, and does not retain moisture, which is great for keeping babies’ skin in our humid climate.

New mats will be creased due to the material. Please wash before use. To smoothen the creases, iron on low heat over the mat on both sides. Please read care/wash instructions under additional info.
